Our Team

Daniel Sherman, LPC, LADC, EMDR

Daniel has always had a passion for understanding the lives of others and helping in any way possible. This appreciation for the human condition lead him to earn his Bachelor Degree in Psychology and then seek employment at a community mental health agency. During his time there his love for helping others continued to grow. He has worked with clients within multiple levels of care including withdrawal management, residential rehab, and outpatient settings. He earned his Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Connecticut State University. Over the 8 years of working within this field, he has become a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and Nationally Certified Counselor.

He utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), motivational interviewing, and EMDR therapy to help clients gain insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behavior patterns while developing effective strategies to achieve their goals. He is trained in EMDR therapy and incorporates trauma-informed approaches into his clinical work. He has experience providing individual counseling, facilitating groups, and delivering intensive outpatient therapy. He works with a diverse population of adults across the lifespan who experience anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, grief, and mood disorders.

Emily Diaz, LMSW

Emily is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who is passionate about creating a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients feel heard and understood. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, including experience within school settings.

Emily supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem, stress, life transitions, and family or relationship challenges. She also has experience supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum concerns, adjustment to motherhood, parenting stress, and the emotional transitions that can come with becoming a parent.

Using a strengths-based, person-centered approach, Emily works collaboratively with clients to build practical coping skills, recognize their strengths, and create meaningful change. As a bilingual English- and Spanish-speaking clinician, she values culturally responsive care and strives to create a space where every client feels comfortable being themselves.

Rebecca Kulhay, LPC-A

Rebecca has a deep passion for empowering people to reconnect with themselves, find joy, and create lives that feel genuinely aligned with who they are. Having walked her own path of healing, she understands what it feels like to be lost, disconnected, or unsure of the way forward. Her approach is compassionate and intuitive, honoring each client's unique journey. Rebecca believes healing isn't about fixing what's broken, but about rediscovering the strength, wisdom, and wholeness already within.

Rebecca works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma and complex trauma, grief, chronic stress, relationship and attachment wounds, identity shifts, hormone-related mood disturbances, and spiritual wounds or awakening. She especially enjoys working with women who feel disconnected from themselves after years of people-pleasing, caretaking, or living according to others' expectations. Her clients often describe her as someone who challenges them in a compassionate and supportive way, helping them recognize old patterns, deepen self-awareness, and create meaningful change.

Her approach blends science with soul, integrating evidence-based therapy with holistic practices that honor the mind, body, and spirit. Rebecca draws from depth psychology, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, EFT tapping, and other therapeutic approaches. As a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200) and Usui Holy Fire Reiki Master, she also brings a deep understanding of the mind-body connection to her work. Rebecca believes healing can be deep without always being heavy, and that humor, curiosity, and even fun can have an important place in the therapeutic process.
